MarQuite' W. Mayes
                                                   MarQuite’ W. Mayes recognized at a young age that God had a                                                                   purpose for her. She asked him to use her as an instrument to help                                                            others and He answered that prayer.  She is a National Christian                                                                  Women’s Speaker who speaks across the sisterhood and strongly                                                              believes to empower the women of God requires one to study to                                                                  ensure that one’s understanding of God’s word is in spiritual                                                                        agreement with God’s intent.
                                                   MarQuite’ has spoken at the National Lectureships, the Woman’s National Lectureship; the United Christian Women; Texas State Lectureship; Texas Women Empowerment Conference and as well as various ladies Day programs, symposiums, workshops, conferences, single seminars, retreats and was the first sister to speak openly on the issue of Domestic Violence among the Body of Christ on a National level.
 
At her membership congregation, MarQuite’ has served on the minister’s committee; the Public Relations Ministry and currently serves as the graphic artist for the Women’s Ministry Ladies Day Program designing their media advertising program and webpage for the last seven (7) years as well as a Certified Wedding and Event Planner.  She and her husband have served as Bible Study team teachers for high school age students and Adult Marriage Class.
 
In addition to Kingdom work, MarQuite’ has a Bachelor’s Degree in English and a Doctorate of Jurisprudence (Law Degree). She is a well respected practicing Criminal Defense attorney. She began her legal career as an Assistant District Attorney (State Prosecutor) and after leaving the District Attorney’s Office she went into private practice establishing the MDMAYES LAW FIRM, PLLC a minority women own and operated business.
 
She admitted to practice law in the Northern District of Texas (Federal Court) and all Texas State courts and a member of the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association and is notable member of The National Trial Lawyers: Top 100 Trial Lawyers. An invitation-only organization that extends its invitation to the select few of the most qualified premier attorneys from each state in the nation and members who possesses the knowledge, skill, experience and success held by only the finest and best lawyers in America.  She has served as an Adjunct Professor in trial advocacy at Southern Methodist University School of Law and given instructional seminars with the United States Department of Justice.
 
MarQuite’ believes in everything you do God gives you opportunities, within the community of church ministry and in the community in which we live and work all to be use for His glory and for His honor and not for praise or accolades from men. For her, she believes: ‘I’m just an instrument chosen to be used by God to do the work he has purposed for me to do and to do that work well.”
